Ave Maria Scholarships
Objective
Ave Maria Scholarships are a strategic tool to evangelize the San Marcos Campus by providing financial resources to attract students from a strong Catholic spiritual background who will become active members of our faith community and encourage other students to take part as well. In addition to those who will receive scholarships directly, it is the intention of the scholarship program to attract committed Catholic students by building a pool of references among schools, parishes and Catholic youth organizations.
General Description
Ave Maria Scholarships are available to students with outstanding academic qualifications, who have also demonstrated a strong spiritual commitment to the Catholic faith in their schools, churches and/or Catholic movements. The scholarship will be open to students from any high school, although specific schools will be targeted. All applicants must submit letters of recommendation from their high school principal or director. Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on the Ave Maria Scholarship Committee’s assessment of their potential to enhance the Catholic spiritual life of Ave Maria University- Latin American Campus.
