School of Arts and Science

The School of Arts and Sciences provides students with an academically strong core curriculum in the Humanities, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. It also offers majors in Politics and Psychology. Minors are available in Biology, English Literature, Spanish Literature, Politics, Mathematics, Philosophy, Theology, and Psychology and plans are being made to offer two additional minors in future years, a minor in Tourism and Hospitality Management and a minor in Communication and Journalism Studies. The goal of the School of Arts and Sciences is to prepare students to be critical thinkers and lifelong learners capable of assuming responsible and rewarding positions in their chosen careers and/or pursuing graduate or professional studies.
