At Ave Maria University Latin American Campus, you will find that study abroad can be a rewarding educational experience for a short visit, summer or semester abroad.  You will not only be able to take classes for credit and non-credit, but also be part of a generation that is already changing the world through its social outreach activities. We offer a wide range of activities that can make your stay in Nicaragua a wonderfully purpose-filled opportunity. You will help the less privileged while exploring the wonders mother nature has to offer, and you will go on wild and fun adventures while you find time for college work.

You can take academic and/or Survival Spanish classes in the mornings and do service work in the afternoons with children, poor families or young adults with disabilities.  Your weekends will be the ideal time to discover breathtaking tropical beauty and enjoy the rich culture, warmth and generosity of the Nicaraguan people.  You can participate in all these activities or just concentrate on your classes.  We'll help you design the best program for your needs and interests.
