Prof. Ibarra joined Ave Maria in fall 2004. He obtained his Bachelor in Mathematics at UNAN Leon graduating at the top of his class. He was granted a Fulbright scholarship and graduated as Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the prestigious Pennsylvania State University. He has twenty five years of teaching at university level both courses of Mathematics and Computer Information Systems. Here at Ave Maria he was in charge of the CIS major. Currently he is focusing on developmental math courses to reinforce this important area.
